Hello! My name is Emily King, and I am the Fundraising Co-Chair for Hope Means Nevada! I am 17 years old and a senior at Coronado High School. I am President of Coronado’s National Honor Society and Treasurer of the Coronado Theater Department. I enjoy playing volleyball in my free time and listening to music!
I believe mental health should be one of our top priorities in today’s world. Everyone suffers from poor mental health at least once in their lives, and I believe we should spread awareness on how to take care of ourselves and handle our emotional health. Today’s teenagers are the future of the world, and it is important we normalize the conversation of mental health in order to prevent teen suicide.
