Erika Pope is owner and principal of The Vox Agency. She has more than 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing and journalism. During the “What Happens Here, Stays Here” campaign, she managed publicity for leisure, groups and incentive travel for Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Most recently, she served as principal of Candid Communications. Clients included Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Erika’s career also includes writing for local, regional and national media outlets on topics such as art, tourism and architecture. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in art history from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, respectively. In addition to serving as co-chair of Hope Means Nevada, she serves on the gala committee for Communities In Schools of Nevada and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for foster children in Southern Nevada.
