Delina Ahferom

Hey there! My name is Delina Ahferom and I’m a senior at Nevada State High School. I’ve been active with Hope Means Nevada for a year now and have been able to develop a passion for speaking up about mental health as I’ve conducted videos and interviews on the topics. This passion started at the beginning of the quarantine, as I noticed how fellow teens began struggling more than usual. Hope Means Nevada has been able to show me how we can make small differences with long-term effects.

Outside of that, I tend to be active with extracurriculars like Basketball, Drama, and volunteer work for other organizations. Some of my other hobbies include listening to music, going to the gym, and binge-watching some of my favorite shows. My goal is to attend school somewhere in the Midwest or upper west coast and maybe even work more with helping teens who struggle with mental health through becoming a psychologist.
