The mission of the Hope Means Nevada Teen Committee is to shine a light and de-stigmatize discussions around mental health for middle school and high school students across Nevada. We hope to share ideas, resources, and become a place where people can find valuable information that could help save lives. This is a safe place for everyone to visit and all information is confidential.
The teen committee was founded at the beginning of the Pandemic in April 2020. Since then, the teen committee has been responsible for helping to pass Senate Bill 249 which will allow for 3 mental health days for all students in Nevada. A suicide hotline will be posted on all student ID cards. We believe this important legislation will help save lives.
