During the height of the pandemic in April 2020, a group of hopeful individuals put their compassionate hearts and innovative minds together to create the Hope Means Nevada Teen Committee – a safe place for people to share ideas, utilize resources, and discover valuable information.
Our mission is to de-stigmatize discussions around mental fitness and actively spread awareness through impactful acts within the community.
The HMN Teen Committee helped pass NV Senate Bill 249 in the 2021 Legislative session that approved three mental health days off in Nevada schools, and provided suicide hotline information on all student ID cards. Our Hope Means Nevada Teen Committee is working hard to make a difference in the community and state to improve and save lives. Join us!
