Hope Means Nevada

Hey! My name is Joshua Ulofoshio and I’m an incoming freshman at the University of California San Diego, formerly a student at Bishop Gorman High School. Hope Means Nevada has always been an important part of my life as it represents the meaningfulness of empowering teen voices for good, which has allowed me, alongside a plethora of advocates, the opportunity to participate in our community. Coming from a strong athletics background as a 3 year varsity football player, I understand the importance of selflessness and working together with a team towards an illuminated goal. Through Hope Means Nevada I hope to reach out to my community and leave an impact that can change lives. This passion will hopefully set a foundation for my ambitions towards medicine in the future, leading to a broadening of the scope of my care and influence on the world.
