Having suicidal thoughts is not healthy, but thoughts are only thoughts, and don’t need to be acted on. It is important to recognize where thoughts are leading however, and how to keep yourself or someone you care about safe. Our six-question screening will help you understand your suicide risk or the risk of someone you care about.
A suicide safety plan is a written plan to help guide you to safety if you begin to experience thoughts about harming yourself. It can also be a way for you to plan how to communicate and check in with each other going forward. Please consider creating a plan using this template to safeguard your health and safety.
