Back in April 2020, when the pandemic was at its peak, a bunch of hopeful teens with big hearts and creative brains teamed up to create something super cool – the Hope Means Nevada Teen Hope Network. It’s like a chill space where people can share ideas, use resources, and find helpful info. Our vibe is all about breaking the stigma around mental health and spreading the word by doing cool stuff in the community.
In the 2021 Legislative session, we played a big role in getting NV Senate Bill 249 passed! Now, students in Nevada can take three mental health days off, and every student ID card comes with suicide hotline info.
We’re on a mission to make a real difference in our community and state, making lives better and even saving a few. Wanna join? Click here.
